Nepal’s national women’s football team defender, Puja Rana, has returned from Bhutan to join the national team’s preparation camp. She arrived in Nepal on Wednesday after playing in the Bhutan Women’s League.

Puja Rana represented Transport United Club in Bhutan’s top women’s league and made an impressive debut by scoring a goal in her very first match. Alongside her international duties, she is also a key player for Nepal Police Club.

The Nepal women’s team is gearing up for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers, which will take place in Uzbekistan. As part of their preparation, Nepal will play two friendly matches against Thailand. The first game is scheduled behind closed doors on May 30, followed by an international friendly on June 2.
