Punyawati Transport Introduces Electric Microbuses

Punyawati Transport Company has officially launched electric microbuses (EV Micros) from today, replacing its previous mini-bus services. This initiative aims to provide an eco-friendly, efficient, and cost-effective travel experience.

New Routes for Electric Microbuses

The company has introduced two new routes for the EV microbuses:

  1. Khopasi to Koteshwar via Panauti Bus Park and Tinkune
  2. Sankhu to Koteshwar via Panauti Bus Park and Tinkune

After reaching Koteshwar, the microbuses will return to their respective starting points, providing regular transportation services for commuters.

Inauguration Ceremony at Maneshwari Park

The electric microbus service was officially inaugurated by Rajeshsundar Saiju, the Chairman of Punyawati Transport, at Maneshwari Park in Panauti. During the event, he emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding eco-friendly transport options.

He stated that they are starting with five EV microbuses on each route and will add more as needed.

Affordable and Eco-Friendly Travel

The company has assured passengers that the electric microbuses will operate at the same fare as the previous mini-buses. This ensures an affordable transition to a more sustainable transport option. The initiative focuses on reducing environmental pollution, utilizing modern technology for efficiency, and providing faster and more comfortable transportation.

Seating Capacity and Future Expansion

Currently, the service includes 11-seater electric microbuses from Khopasi and 14-seater electric microbuses from Sankhu.

Depending on passenger demand, the company plans to introduce more electric vehicles in the future, enhancing connectivity and convenience for daily commuters.

Punyawati Transport’s shift to electric microbuses is a major step toward sustainable urban transportation, offering cleaner and more efficient travel for passengers.
