This marks the little one’s first visit to India, and Radhika is overjoyed to introduce her daughter to the city’s vibrant culture. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Radhika shared a heartwarming moment from the airport. In the photo, she can be seen carrying her daughter in a shoulder carrier, her face reflecting a mix of delight and astonishment. While the baby’s tiny nose and lips are visible, Radhika playfully concealed her face using a hat and sunglasses emoji.
Expressing her excitement, she captioned the post: “Touchdown in the motherland! Mum chose the best month for a Mumbai intro (Sun, mango, and red heart emoji) #shocked #mangoseason #hothothot.”
The post quickly garnered attention, with actor Tisca Chopra commenting, “Oh my lord (red heart emoji),” while another user simply wrote, “Yay!”
Radhika Apte’s Journey into Motherhood
Radhika Apte and her husband, British violinist and composer Benedict Taylor, welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in late 2024. In December, Radhika announced the birth on Instagram with a candid post about balancing work and motherhood. She shared a photo of herself nursing the newborn, writing, “First work meeting back after birth with our one-week-old at my breast…”
In October 2024, she had surprised fans by debuting her baby bump while attending the BFI London Film Festival for the screening of her film Sister Midnight.

Despite their careers in the entertainment industry, Radhika and Benedict prefer to keep their personal lives private. The couple met in 2011 when Radhika was in London for studies, and they tied the knot in 2012. A formal wedding ceremony followed in 2013.
