Raghav Juyal joins Nani in Srikanth Odela's new film 'The Paradise'

Indian actor Raghav Juyal has officially joined the cast of “The Paradise,” an upcoming period drama directed by Srikanth Odela and led by popular star Nani. The film explores themes of social injustice and rebellion, set against the backdrop of 1980s Secunderabad.

A powerful story about justice and identity

The Paradise” tells the story of a marginalized tribe that is denied basic rights and recognition. But things change when an unlikely leader emerges to guide their fight for citizenship and justice within a system that has long kept them oppressed.

Director Srikanth Odela, who won acclaim for his blockbuster debut “Dasara” , returns with another ambitious project that promises to blend intense drama with larger-than-life storytelling.

Raghav Juyal cast in a ruthless role

Juyal, best known for his chilling role in the Toronto Film Festival-selected action thriller “Kill” and the ZEE5 series “Gyaarah Gyaarah,” is set to play a menacing antagonist in the film.

Director Odela shared how Juyal landed the role:

“We first imagined a lean man with a thick mustache for this ruthless character. But after seeing Raghav’s performance in ‘Kill,’ his raw intensity convinced us he was the right choice. He completely won us over.”

The filmmakers marked Juyal’s birthday with a special behind-the-scenes video revealing his character design process and his transformation for the role.

Big ambitions for a global release

“The Paradise” is aiming big with a theatrical release on March 26, 2026, across eight languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and Spanish. There are also talks of a potential collaboration with a Hollywood studio, with more updates expected soon.

Nani, whose international fame rose with S.S. Rajamouli’s fantasy hit “Eega,” has described “The Paradise” as:

“India’s ‘Mad Max.’ It will be wild, but with poetic justice. I mean this with all sincerity.”

Shot in IMAX, made for impact

The film will be shot using IMAX cameras, adding a grand cinematic scale to the already intense narrative. Following Odela’s award-winning streak with Filmfare, SIIMA, and IIFA, expectations are high for this gritty, emotionally charged epic.

With Nani’s fierce passion, Juyal’s dark new avatar, and Odela’s bold vision, “The Paradise” is shaping up to be one of India’s most anticipated films of 2026.
