Actor Rajesh Hamal’s comeback film after eight years, Narasimha Avatar, has set a new release date. Previously scheduled to release around the Nepali New Year, the film will now hit theaters on Jestha 9, 2082 (May 23, 2025).
The producers announced the new release date during a press conference on Monday. Along with the announcement, they also unveiled a poster featuring Rajesh Hamal and fellow actor Raj Katuwal in their character looks.
Both actors are seen in action avatars in the poster. The film, based on themes of revenge and social issues, marks Hamal’s long-awaited return to the big screen. Fans are excited to see their beloved star back in action.
Hamal last appeared in the film Just for You. Over his career, he has acted in 230 films. After three decades, he is sharing the screen again with veteran actor Saroj Khanal in this project.
The film stars Rajesh Hamal, Raj Katuwal, Niti Shah, Sanisha Bhattarai, Arjun Shrestha, Deepa Shahi, Prashant Tamrakar, Neer Shah, Ramesh Chand Sodari, and Prakash Kunwar.
Directed by Diwakar Bhattarai, the film is produced under the Creative Cine Art banner by Narendra Maharjan, Dhruva Neupane, and Deepak Dhakal.
