Actor Randeep Hooda, who is all set to star in the upcoming film Jaat, has revealed a surprising side of his co-star Sunny Deol. The film, which is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10, 2025, features both actors alongside Vineet Kumar Singh, and Hooda shared some interesting insights about working with the Bollywood legend.
Sunny Deol: A Soft-Spoken Superstar
Hooda, a long-time fan of Deol, spoke fondly about his co-star, describing him as very different from his on-screen persona. “We started making our muscles by looking at paaji. I would place a poster of him in the cupboard and started doing bench presses because of him,” Hooda said, recalling how Deol’s fitness inspired him early in his career.
Despite his powerful on-screen presence, Hooda revealed that Deol is actually soft-spoken and easy-going off-camera. “He is nothing like he looks on screen. He is very easy-going and soft-spoken, but when he faces the camera, inme mata aajati hai,” Hooda quipped, referring to Deol’s transformation into a fierce character when the cameras roll.
Randeep Hooda’s Role in Jaat Doesn’t Require Much Preparation
Hooda, known for his roles in Murder 3, Highway, and Sarabjit, shared that his role in Jaat didn’t require intense preparation. “All it required was to be there, get the hair and makeup done, and maintain my attitude,” he said, explaining that the character came out strong due to the director’s thoughtful approach to the role.
Vineet Kumar Singh Takes on His First Negative Role
Vineet Kumar Singh, known for his recent role in Chhaava, spoke about playing a negative character for the first time in Jaat. He expressed excitement about this new challenge and hopes the audience will appreciate his performance in the film.
