Popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia has been at the center of controversy due to his comments on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. After nearly two months, he has finally returned to YouTube with a new video where he apologized and thanked his supporters. He also promised to be more careful with his content in the future.
Ranveer’s Apology and Gratitude
In his video, Ranveer spoke about the tough time he and his family went through. He said, “Thank you to all my supporters and well-wishers. Your positive messages really helped me and my family because this was a very difficult time. Facing open threats, online hate, and so many media articles was overwhelming. But your messages gave us strength.”
He continued, “Life is not just about success; you also have to face failures. Many people see me as a son or a brother, and to them, I sincerely apologize.”
Commitment to Responsible Content
Ranveer promised to be more responsible while creating content. He said, “For the next 20-30 years, as long as I create content, I will do it more carefully. I now understand that I have a big responsibility. The fact that so many people see me as family means a lot to me. If possible, please make space for me in your hearts again.”
Support from His Team and Fans
Ranveer also thanked his team, revealing that none of his 300 crew members left his side during the controversy. He expressed gratitude to celebrities, sportspersons, and other well-known figures who had appeared on his show and supported him.
He urged people to stand by him as he begins a new chapter, saying, “I love podcasting and creating content. Exploring our country’s history and culture is my passion, and that’s what I am doing through my work. I love my country’s culture, and I hope you support me and my team in this new journey.”

Ranveer shared that during his tough times, meditation and prayer helped him stay strong. He realized that in the end, only God is always with you. He also said he doesn’t see this phase as a punishment but as a way for him to improve his work.
Why Was Ranveer Allahbadia Criticized?
Ranveer faced backlash for his comments about parents and sex on India’s Got Latent. Even after apologizing, multiple complaints were filed against him. He was temporarily banned from creating content online. The Supreme Court called his remarks “vulgar” and said he had a “dirty mind” that disrespected society. However, the court has now allowed him to resume his podcast, with the condition that he does not discuss the case in his videos.
