Ravi Mohan Sues Production House for ₹9 Crore Over Wasted Call Sheets

Tamil actor Ravi Mohan has approached the Madras High Court seeking ₹9 crore in compensation from Bobby Touch Gold Universal Private Limited. He claims the production house wasted his committed schedule for two films without utilizing his time.

As reported by The New Indian Express, Ravi’s legal action comes in response to a civil suit filed by the production house, demanding he return a ₹6 crore advance they paid him.

Ravi stated that both parties had agreed on filming dates for the first movie, and he had reserved 80 continuous call sheets from January 1 to March 21, 2025. However, the production was delayed, causing him to lose valuable time. He is now asking the court to attach the company’s property and order a ₹9 crore security deposit until the case is resolved.

On the other side, the production house claims Ravi breached their agreement by choosing to produce his own film instead. They are also seeking a court injunction to prevent him from working with third-party producers. The advance, they said, was paid in September 2024 as part of their deal for one of the two proposed projects.

Ravi Mohan was last seen in Kadhalika Neramillai alongside Nithya Menen and is set to appear in upcoming films like Karathey Babu, Parasakthi, Genie, and Thani Oruvan 2.
