Indian cricket star Ravindra Jadeja has made history in the ICC Test rankings. The all-rounder has now held the No. 1 spot in the ICC Test rankings for all-rounders for the longest period ever.
Still at the Top with 400 Rating Points
In the latest ICC rankings update, Jadeja has kept his top position with 400 rating points. Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz is second with 327 points.
South Africa’s Marco Jansen is third, followed by Australian Test captain Pat Cummins in fourth. Bangladesh veteran Shakib Al Hasan holds the fifth spot.
Jadeja also ranks 48th among Test batsmen and 10th among bowlers.
No. 1 Since March 2022
Jadeja climbed to the No. 1 position in March 2022 after a brilliant performance against Sri Lanka in Mohali. He scored an unbeaten 175 and took nine wickets in the match, helping him leap ahead of West Indies’ Jason Holder in the rankings. Since then, he has remained at the top.

The 35-year-old all-rounder has played 80 Test matches for India so far. He has scored 3,370 runs at an average of 34.74 and taken 323 wickets at an impressive average of 24.14.

- 2022: Scored 328 runs and took 10 wickets in 3 Tests
- 2023: Scored 281 runs and claimed 33 wickets in 7 Tests
- 2024: Scored 527 runs and bagged 48 wickets in 12 Tests
Solid Performance in Border-Gavaskar Trophy
Jadeja also played in India’s Test series against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. In three matches, he scored 135 runs and took 4 wickets.
