Brazilian football legend Roberto Carlos has postponed his much-anticipated visit to Nepal for the Nepal Super League (NSL) due to a sudden illness.
Originally Set for April 18
Carlos was scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu on April 18 to attend the NSL and witness the thrilling playoff matches. However, organizers announced that his arrival has been delayed because of health concerns.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances and a sudden illness, Roberto Carlos will not be able to arrive in Kathmandu on the previously scheduled date,” read the official statement.
Roberto Carlos Still Committed to Attend
The NSL organizers have confirmed that Carlos still plans to visit Nepal and join the league before the final. Discussions are ongoing with his team to set new travel dates, which will be shared soon.
Ticket Refund or Validity Option
Fans who had purchased tickets to see Carlos have two options:
- Request a full refund, or
- Keep their tickets, which will remain valid for the rescheduled event featuring Roberto Carlos.
