Trouble began for Samay Raina in February when he was named in an FIR connected to a controversial episode of India’s Got Latent that sparked outrage over inappropriate content. Since then, Samay stayed off social media, with his last Instagram post dated February 9.
Joyful Return with Friends and Family
On May 14, Samay shared a video and several Instagram Stories, giving fans a glimpse of his life. The posts showed him enjoying meals with fellow comedians like Gursimran Khamba and Tanmay Bhat, video calling his parents, and hitting the gym.
A Special Moment with Apoorva Mukhija
Among the posts, Samay included a picture with Apoorva Mukhija (The Rebel Kid), his co-host and fellow FIR nominee from the controversial episode. The two were seen raising a toast, signaling a positive vibe after the difficult period.
An Emotional Note of Gratitude
Alongside his posts, Samay shared an emotional message addressing his fans:
“Aaj kuch zyaada hi storyiaan daaldi. Bohot ghutan si yaar kya bataau kaafi nikaal diya ek saath hi,”
(“Today I posted a lot of stories at once. I was feeling really suffocated, so I let it all out in one go.”)
He added:
“I love you all. I’m so happy to be experiencing all this love. I can’t wait to see you guys in my shows abroad and in India. I’m so grateful to all of you.”

Upcoming International Tour
Samay also revealed that he will be touring Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, beginning June 5 in Cologne and ending July 20 in Sydney. This marks a fresh start for the comedian as he prepares to reconnect with audiences worldwide.
