Samsung is gearing up to reveal its new Galaxy S25 lineup at its Unpacked event in January, but this time, the family might include four models instead of the usual three. The surprise addition is the Galaxy S25 Slim, which was hinted at in a recently leaked teaser.
However, reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 Slim will arrive later than its siblings. According to a new update from Samsung’s One UI 7 beta, the Slim’s model number is missing from the list of US carrier-specific devices. This indicates it won’t be part of the initial batch of phones launching with One UI 7 based on Android 15.
Earlier rumors also claimed the S25 Slim would hit the market in the second quarter of 2024, between April and June. The latest information seems to confirm this timeline.
As for the specs, the Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to feature a 6.66-inch display, a powerful 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide lens, and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. It will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and house a battery ranging between 4,700 mAh and 5,000 mAh.
