Sandra Bullock is speaking out against fake social media accounts pretending to be her. The Hollywood actress, who is known for keeping her personal life private, made a statement on Monday about the growing problem. She told People magazine that these scams worry her, especially because they put both her family and innocent people in danger.

“My biggest concern is my family’s safety and the people being tricked by these fake accounts. Right now, we are focused on helping law enforcement deal with this problem, but I will speak more about it in the future,” Bullock said.

She made it very clear that she does not use social media at all. “I do not have any social media accounts. Any page claiming to be me or connected to me is fake. These accounts are created to steal money or take advantage of others,” she warned.

Bullock’s sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado, also spoke out about the issue. She shared her frustration on social media, explaining that scammers create fake profiles and trick people into thinking they are talking to her or Sandra.

According to Gesine, some of these fake accounts have convinced people, especially men, that they are in a relationship with Sandra through private messages. Some victims have even sent thousands of dollars to these scammers.

“I report these fake accounts every day. I also get scary emails from men who believe they are dating my sister because of these scams. Some have sent a lot of money to a fake ‘Sandra Bullock,'” Gesine wrote.

She explained that these scams are run by criminals and that they even create fake groups pretending to share official news. “I only have one real account, and it’s about baking, cooking, animals, and gardening. I don’t go around messaging people at 54 years old,” she added.

Gesine urged people to report and block fake accounts. She said she stays on Facebook just to keep track of these scams and to stay aware of any dangers. She also mentioned that local law enforcement had to get involved because the problem has become so serious.

Both Sandra Bullock and her sister are working to fight these scams by warning people and raising awareness. They encourage everyone to be careful and to report any suspicious accounts.
