Sankata Football Club has advanced to the semifinals of the KP Oli Cup after defeating APF Football Club in a penalty shootout. The match, held at the ANFA Complex, ended in a 0-0 draw in regular time, leading to a tiebreaker.

In the penalty shootout, Sankata secured a 5-3 victory. Goalkeeper Deep Karki played a crucial role by saving a shot from APF’s Sujan Pulami, sealing the win for his team.

Sankata will now face Tribhuvan Army Club in the semifinals. Meanwhile, the second match of the day will feature Machhindra FC against FC Transport United at 3 PM.

The tournament, organized by the National Youth Association of Nepal, features nine participating teams. The competition will run until Falgun 18, with the winner receiving NPR 15,11,111 and the runner-up earning NPR 5,00,000.
