Students who are studying IT at bachelor’s, master’s, MPhil, or PhD levels at Nepali universities or affiliated colleges can apply. Each selected student can receive up to Rs. 50,000.
The deadline to submit the application is Jestha 12. Students must submit the application form in the format mentioned in Schedule 1 of the Scholarship Procedure 2081, along with required documents.
Applicants can submit the form and documents either:
- Directly to the department, or
- By email to:
scholarship@doit.gov.np
Students must submit the following documents:
- A certified copy of citizenship
- Certified copies of academic certificates and mark sheets
- Recommendation letter from the local government if they studied SEE/SLC at a government or community school
- Recommendation from the local authority for students from low-income families
- A letter from the current college confirming that the student is studying and has not received any other scholarship
