Due to the increasing cold, community and private schools in Nepalgunj have been given a three-day holiday. The winter holiday will last from today until Magh 11.
According to Gorkhabahadur Thapa, the head of the Education, Youth, and Sports Department of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City, the holiday has been granted due to unfavorable weather. This leave will be adjusted with the regular winter break.
Thapa stated that schools faced difficulties operating due to the cold wave. Parents had also informally requested schools and local authorities for the holiday.
