Mom-to-be Kiara Advani recently teamed up with superstar Shah Rukh Khan for a fun and unusual commercial directed by Farah Khan. Alongside Farah’s popular cook and assistant, Dilip, the shoot turned into a playful chaos rather than a typical ad filming.
Farah Khan Turns the Set Into a Comedy Zone
The commercial, made for the brand Myntra, started with high hopes of a big-budget shoot. But Farah, known for her witty style, had other plans. She humorously told the stars, “Why make an ad for an offer this good? It sells itself!” Instead of acting, Shah Rukh and Kiara ended up doing all kinds of unexpected chores.
Shah Rukh Khan Chops Onions, Kiara Shells Peas
In one funny scene, Shah Rukh is seen tearing up while chopping onions, with Dilip joking about a famous movie climax, “Sir, this reminds me of Kal Ho Naa Ho.” When the chopping didn’t meet Farah’s standards, SRK had to try again. Meanwhile, Kiara was busy shelling peas and later playing dumb charades with the crew, adding to the light-hearted vibe on set.
Saree Ads and Dance Moves
The fun didn’t stop there. Farah made the actors shoot a quirky saree ad for a fictional “Dilip ke dost ke papa ki dukaan” (a saree shop owned by Dilip’s friend’s father). Shah Rukh even broke into his iconic dance moves with the team.
In a hilarious twist, Farah was asked to choreograph a sangeet ceremony for an employee’s relative because she too was “under contract.” This made SRK and Kiara sit back, relax, and enjoy the unexpected entertainment.
A Commercial Shoot Like No Other
This commercial shoot proved to be more about fun and laughter than serious acting. With Farah’s creative direction, Shah Rukh Khan, Kiara Advani, and Dilip gave fans a delightful glimpse of their lighter side, making the ad much more than just a promotional video.
