The show, described as a cheeky satire, offers a unique commentary on the inner workings of the Hindi film industry. Sources also suggest that several high-profile celebrities, including Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh, will make cameo appearances. Bobby Deol and Mona Singh are also rumored to feature in the show, though the primary focus will be on Sahher and Lakshya’s characters.
Lakshya, formerly known as Laksh Lalwani, gained recognition for his role in Porus, India’s most expensive television show. Despite setbacks in his Bollywood career, including shelved films like Dostana 2 and Bedhadak, he made his film debut with Kill, a global hit. Meanwhile, Sahher Bambba, a Himachal Pradesh native, debuted in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas alongside Karan Deol and later appeared in Disney+ Hotstar’s The Empire and Dil Bekaraar.
The Ba***ds of Bollywood was previously known as Stardom but was rebranded at the Netflix event. While rumors suggest Shah Rukh Khan may appear in a cameo, he neither confirmed nor denied it.
