Actor Parag Tyagi has bid a final and deeply emotional farewell to his beloved wife, actress Shefali Jariwala, who tragically passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 42. Shefali, known for her iconic presence on screen, reportedly died due to a cardiac arrest, though an official confirmation is still awaited.
The grief-stricken actor performed her last rites on June 28 in accordance with Hindu customs. Earlier today, Parag was seen at the crematorium, tearfully holding the pot carrying Shefali’s ashes close to his heart. The heart-wrenching visuals of him crying inconsolably left fans and well-wishers shaken.
In the afternoon, Parag proceeded to a nearby beach for the asthi visarjan ritual, where he immersed Shefali’s ashes in the sea. Accompanied by close family members and friends, Parag stood by the shoreline and gently released her ashes into the water — a symbolic and emotional goodbye to his “Pari.”
A video of the moment has since gone viral, capturing the raw emotion and pain Parag is experiencing as he mourns the loss of his life partner.
Following the cremation, Parag had made a humble appeal to the media and public, asking for privacy during this extremely difficult time. Holding back tears, he said,
“Please mazaak, drama mat banayega. Main aap sabse request karta hoon, meri Pari ke liye dua kijiyega. Woh jahan bhi ho, khush rahe aur shanti mein rahe. Bas ab band kijiye.”
(Translation: “Please don’t turn this into a joke or drama. I sincerely request all of you to pray for my Pari. Wherever she is, may she be happy and at peace. Please, let this end here.”)
