An exclusive report on June 26 KST reveals that actress Shin Si Ah has been cast as the new female lead for the drama ‘Grand Galaxy Hotel’.
Originally, the role was set to be played by actress Go Min Si. However, following school bullying allegations against Go Min Si raised by an anonymous netizen in May, her casting was canceled. This change has reportedly delayed the drama’s filming schedule by three months.
Shin Si Ah, who recently gained attention for her role as Pyo Nam Kyung in tvN’s ‘Resident Playbook’, will now step into her first major lead role in a high-budget drama. She will star alongside Lee Do Hyun.
‘Grand Galaxy Hotel’, written by the renowned Hong Sisters—Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran—and directed by Oh Choong Hwan, serves as a sequel to tvN’s popular ‘Hotel Del Luna’. The story follows a mysterious hotel catering to ghosts, where the original owner has vanished. Lee Do Hyun plays Eun Ha, the new owner who shakes things up for Sang Soon, the young hotelier portrayed by Shin Si Ah.
