2025 didn’t start well for Siddhu Jonnalagadda, with his film Jack failing at the box office. However, the actor is all set to bounce back in style with a brand-new film titled Badass.
Directed by Ravikanth Perepu, Badass is produced by Sithara Entertainments, the same team that delivered the hit Tillu franchise with Siddhu. The film is co-produced by Sai Sowjanya under Fortune Four Cinemas and is scheduled to release in 2026.
The first look poster, recently revealed, shows Siddhu in a rugged avatar, lighting a cigar while surrounded by the press. The tagline, “If middle finger was a man,” adds to the edgy vibe and sets the tone for what promises to be a bold character.
This marks yet another collaboration between Siddhu and director Ravikanth Perepu, who previously worked together on Krishna and His Leela and DJ Tillu. The story is penned by the duo themselves.
Announcing the project, Sithara Entertainments wrote on social media:
“You have seen heroes & you have seen villains. But this one’s not here to fit into your labels! Make way for STARBOY #Siddu as #Badass. This time no mercy. He’s going to set the screens on.”
Meanwhile, Siddhu is still dealing with the aftermath of Jack’s box office failure. The film, which hit theatres on April 10, did not perform well commercially. Showing accountability, Siddhu reportedly returned half of his fee—an amount of Rs. 4.75 crores—to the producers, as confirmed by PRO BA Raju’s team.
With Badass, fans are hoping to see Siddhu Jonnalagadda back in top form, delivering the energetic performance he’s known for.
