Snowfall started in Humla on Friday morning, affecting high-altitude areas like the Namkha Rural Municipality and the district headquarters, Simkot.
Heavy snow has covered areas such as Limi, Chala, Yalbang, Yari, and Muchu in the Namkha Rural Municipality.
Meanwhile, southern parts of Humla, including Sarkegad, Chankheli, Adanchuli, and Tajakot Rural Municipalities, have experienced rainfall.
The snowfall has disrupted flights from Nepalgunj and Surkhet, grounding Tara, Sita, and Summit Airlines.
According to resident Laxman Aidi, light rain continued throughout the night, but snow started accumulating on the ground at 7 AM, leading to a sharp drop in temperature.
