Ajay Devgn is back as Jaswinder “Jassi” Singh Randhawa in Son Of Sardaar 2, and the latest trailer—titled the duja trailer—promises even more laughs, confusion, and cultural comedy. The film, originally scheduled to hit theatres on July 25, will now release on August 1, 2025.
The reason behind the delay hasn’t been officially stated, but insiders suggest it may be to avoid clashing with the current box office sensation Saiyaara. By shifting the release by a week, the makers hope to give the comedy sequel a better shot at success. However, it will now go head-to-head with another anticipated sequel—Dhadkan 2.
Joining Devgn in this laughter riot are Mrunal Thakur and Ravi Kishan. The film also features the final on-screen performance of the late Mukul Dev, who passed away in May 2024.
