Song Ha Yoon School Bullying Dispute Intensifies with Conflicting Claims

Actress Song Ha Yoon is at the center of a growing controversy over allegations of school violence and a forced transfer during her high school years. The dispute has escalated with conflicting statements from Song and the original accuser, known as Oh.

On July 7th, Oh shared a new public statement online, claiming that Song’s team is using harsh media tactics to paint them as a criminal and distract from the real issue: why Song Ha Yoon was transferred from Banpo High School to Gujeong High School.

Oh insists that many classmates and witnesses confirm Song was forcibly transferred as punishment for a group assault, not voluntarily. Oh also clarified they live in the U.S. and explained their absence from police investigations was due to overseas residence, denying claims they are a fugitive.

Oh said, “Calling me a fugitive is a harmful lie meant to damage my reputation. I will take legal action for defamation.”

The accusations began last year when Oh accused Song of repeatedly slapping them for 90 minutes in 2004. Oh shared private messages involving Song’s agency.

Song Ha Yoon has denied all claims, saying she never met or contacted Oh. Her agency, King Kong by Starship, also denied the accusations and warned of legal consequences.

Song’s lawyers from Law Firm Ji-eum said they filed a criminal complaint against Oh for defamation and fraud. They added that Oh refused police cooperation, leading to a notice of summons and placement on a wanted list. The legal team is also considering further action in the U.S.

Oh responded by denying any falsehoods and is thinking about suing for false accusations. Law Firm Ji-eum confirmed Oh’s summons status but emphasized they have submitted proof, including school records, that Song was never forcibly transferred or involved in violence.

This case remains ongoing with both sides firmly defending their versions as legal steps continue.
