Stray Kids’ Felix sustained a fracture following a minor car accident and will be unable to participate in the group’s fan meeting, SKZ 5’CLOCK. JYP Entertainment, the agency managing Stray Kids, released a statement on Sunday confirming the incident and providing updates on Felix’s condition.
Details of the Accident
According to JYP Entertainment, the accident took place on Saturday night, February 15, as Felix was returning home from a scheduled event. While exiting the Inspire Arena parking lot, the vehicle he was in—a Carnival—was moving slowly toward the main lobby when a shuttle bus, also moving at a slow pace, collided with the left rear side of the vehicle.
Although the accident was considered minor, the sudden shift in movement caused Felix to put pressure on his arm, which hit the armrest inside the vehicle, resulting in a fracture. The statement emphasized that Felix was promptly taken to the hospital, where medical professionals advised him to take adequate rest and receive proper treatment.
Felix’s Absence from the Fan Meeting
Due to his injury, Felix will not be able to attend Stray Kids’ 5th Fan Meeting, SKZ 5’CLOCK, scheduled for February 16. JYP Entertainment expressed their regret over the situation and apologized to fans who may have been concerned by the unexpected news.
“The health and recovery of our artist is our top priority, and we will provide all the necessary support. Additionally, we will strengthen our measures to ensure that our artist can travel in a safer environment,” the agency stated.
