Stray Kids Release Haunting “Hollow” MV, Building Excitement for Japan 3rd Mini Album

Global K-pop sensation Stray Kids have unveiled the music video for “Hollow,” the title track of their upcoming JAPAN 3rd Mini Album, set to release on June 18. The MV, which dropped at midnight JST, paints a visually striking and emotionally charged portrait of heartbreak and existential emptiness.

With ethereal sets, broken crystal motifs, and moody lighting, “Hollow” captures the internal struggle of feeling incomplete. The emotionally resonant track is driven by melancholic synths and a powerful chorus, showcasing the group’s signature intensity.

Fans quickly picked up on the symbolic elements. Many praised the crystal heart imagery and recurring motifs of loss and vulnerability. One fan wrote, “Such a beautiful song—the MV visuals were stunning. Hollow speaks to the pain of being emotionally shattered.”

The mini album “Hollow” features six tracks:

  1. Hollow
  2. Parade
  3. Never Alone
  4. just a little
  5. 宿命 (Shukumei, meaning “Destiny” or “Fate”)
  6. Hollow (Instrumental)

The release will come in 12 different formats, including limited editions A and B, a regular edition, a limited press version, and eight fan-club exclusive member editions—each packed with collectibles like photo books, photo cards, stickers, and lyric booklets.

Released under Epic Records Japan and Sony Music Labels, the album continues Stray Kids’ dominance in the Japanese market, following their previous hits “Social Path” and “CIRCUS.”

Teasers for the album began in mid-April, with concept photos and track snippets dropping across official platforms. “Hollow” was also teased live during their “dominATE” world tour stop in Shizuoka last month, sparking anticipation among STAYs worldwide.

With “Hollow,” Stray Kids blend emotional storytelling with high-caliber visuals and production—a formula that continues to resonate across borders.
