Late actress Sulli’s older brother has made new accusations against actor Kim Soo Hyun. He questioned why Kim Soo Hyun pressured Sulli into filming intimate scenes in the 2017 movie Real. On March 31, during a live broadcast, the brother—referred to as A—also talked about Kim Soo Hyun’s behavior at Sulli’s funeral. According to a report from Allkpop on April 2, A felt that the actor acted strangely at the funeral.
A claimed that Kim Soo Hyun did not seem comfortable at the funeral and that his presence did not feel sincere. Since they had worked together on Real, A suggested that the actor might have attended out of professional obligation rather than personal feelings. A also thought Kim Soo Hyun was acting as if he was following someone else’s instructions. He said, “It felt like he was just doing what he was told.”
A questioned whether Kim Soo Hyun had any real decision-making power and pointed out that the actor looked uneasy, almost as if he had been forced to be there. The funeral was a private event held in a basement room with only a few people present. Fans were not allowed inside, and over 20 bodyguards were there to maintain privacy. Because of this, A was confused about why Kim Soo Hyun seemed so uncomfortable. He asked, “Why would a place like that make him feel uneasy?”
During the broadcast, fans also asked A about Sulli’s decision to take part in the movie Real. He expressed frustration, saying, “I don’t know why she agreed to do it.” He also repeated his earlier concerns: “Where was the body double? Was there even one? Why did director Lee Jung Sub leave the project?” A said the whole situation was very frustrating and left him with many unanswered questions.
