In the 20th February 2025 episode of Suman Indori, tensions rise between Suman and Teerth as they clash over Rishi’s future. Suman takes drastic steps to protect her son, while Teerth’s determination to secure Rishi’s safety leads to a confrontation. Teerth, concerned about the possibility of tampering, instructs the doctor to secure Rishi’s DNA sample. However, after the doctor leaves, Gulshan sneaks into the lab with plans to switch the sample. He doesn’t realize that Suman has arrived for the same purpose and catches him in the act.
Meanwhile, Vikram faces harsh criticism from his father for putting Suman’s well-being before his own political ambitions. Initially, the plan had been to use Suman for political gain, but Vikram’s feelings for her have become genuine. His father insists that Suman’s heart belongs only to Teerth, but Vikram refuses to accept this as truth.
Seeing Vikram’s emotional vulnerability, Devika attempts to manipulate him. She knows that if Teerth’s DNA matches Rishi’s, Vikram’s chance to marry Suman will be over. But despite her schemes, Vikram remains steadfast, convinced that Rishi is not Teerth’s son.
In an attempt to protect Rishi, Suman takes matters into her own hands. She strikes Gulshan with a pan, knocking him out, and swaps the DNA sample herself. When Teerth and Akhil arrive, they find Gulshan caught in the act. Initially, Teerth suspects Suman of tampering with the sample, but he quickly uncovers that it was Devika’s plan all along, with Gulshan as her pawn.
Later, Teerth confronts Devika, accusing her of trying to destroy his life and now targeting his son. Devika denies the accusations, but Akhil presents Gulshan as proof of her involvement. Seeing him, Devika is visibly shaken, and Teerth warns her to stay away from Rishi or face serious consequences. But Devika remains defiant, accepting the challenge.
Despite Devika’s threats, the Mittal family stands strong. Chandrakant and Gitanjali Devi refuse to let her manipulate them any longer. Even when Guru tries to remind Teerth to respect his elders, Teerth rebukes him, accusing him of ignoring the wrongdoings within the family.
In a final attempt to keep Rishi safe, Suman makes the difficult decision to send him to a distant hostel, away from Teerth. Despite the concerns raised by Hema and Malini, she remains resolute, believing that this is the only way to protect her son from further harm.
