Bollywood actress Karishma Kapoor’s ex-husband, businessman and polo player Sunjay Kapur, tragically passed away recently, leaving his family and children devastated. A rare video showing the desperate efforts to save his life during a polo match has now come to light, shared by his close friend and former hockey player Ajit Nandal.
Last Video Shows CPR Efforts to Save Sunjay Kapur
Ajit Nandal posted the emotional video on his X (formerly Twitter) account, capturing doctors performing CPR on Sunjay, trying to revive him. The video was shot during a polo match between Sunjay’s team and Sajjan Jaisal’s team, where their shared love for horses had brought these friends together.
Ajit wrote along with the video, “The last video showing efforts to save Sunjay Kapur’s life. It was a match between Sunjay’s team and Sajjan Jaisal’s team, with a horse named Sujjan also present. This is a very sad time for horse lovers. Rest in peace, my friend.”
Ajit Nandal’s Tribute After Sunjay’s Death
Earlier on June 13, Ajit had expressed his grief on social media, describing Sunjay as a wonderful person and a passionate polo player. He wrote, “A very sad morning for horse lovers. A great man, amazing polo player, and the kindest heart, Sunjay Kapur passed away in England at the age of 53. He suffered a heart attack after swallowing a bee during a polo match.”

Sunjay Kapur married actress Karishma Kapoor in 2003, and the couple had two children, Samaira and Kiaan. However, the couple divorced in 2016. Sunjay had three marriages in total and four children. His third wife, Priya Sachdev, married him in 2017.
