Suspended Janamat Vice Chair Deepak Sah Attacked with Black Ink by Own Party Member

In a dramatic turn of events, suspended Vice Chairperson of the Janamat Party, Deepak Sah, was attacked with black ink by another leader from his own party during a public event in Bara district.

The incident occurred around 11 AM in Dahiyachowk, Gadimai Municipality-3, while Sah was participating in a “Jan Samvad Yatra” (Public Dialogue Tour) led by a dissident faction of the party.

According to Sah, the ink was thrown by Janamat Central Committee member Vikas Singh, allegedly on the direction of party chair Dr. CK Raut.

“I had just stepped out after lunch when Vikas Singh, who is close to Dr. Raut, threw black ink on me,” Sah said.
“Ever since we began this dialogue tour, we’ve been receiving threats from those close to the party leadership.”

The dissident faction, led by Sah and other suspended leaders like Treasurer Engineer Surendra Narayan Yadav and Central Member Birendra Sah Sonar, launched the Jan Samvad Yatra from Rautahat. They claim the movement is intended to strengthen internal democracy within the Janamat Party.

The group also accuses Dr. CK Raut of promoting nepotism within the party and suppressing long-standing contributors to the movement since the Free Madhesh Alliance days.

Meanwhile, Central Committee member BP Sah condemned the act, calling it undemocratic and demanded an internal investigation.
