A suspicious object found near the Tripureshwor bus stop was safely disposed of by the Nepal Army.
The object, wrapped in a blanket, was spotted by locals, who then informed the police. A joint team of Nepal Police and the Nepal Army reached the site to investigate.
According to SSP Bishwo Adhikari of Kathmandu Police, the Nepal Army’s disposal team successfully neutralized the object.
Further investigation revealed that the object was a hoax, placed to create panic. Police stated that the suspicious bag contained only clothes, likely meant to scare people.
The Nepal Army acted swiftly after receiving reports from locals and safely removed the item.
