The teaser for the horror family drama “Mummy”, starring Diya Maskey, Sulakshyan Bharati, and Priyanka Karki, has been released.
The teaser highlights the storyline, characters, and overall theme of the movie. It portrays a series of mysterious events in a house after the death of a beloved family dog and the adoption of a black cat.
The teaser aims to spark curiosity and suspense among the audience, featuring elements of thrill and mystery. This is Priyanka Karki’s second horror film; she previously acted in “Chi Musi Chi”.
The film is directed by debutant Samir Niraula, known for his work in the hit movie “Boksi Ko Ghar”, and features a talented cast including Samip Niraula, Ghanshyam Joshi, Ayushi Dhakal, Javis Shrestha, and Git Bista.
“Mummy” is produced under the banner of So-Twenty Five, with Lokraj Joshi and Purnima Joshi as producers. Suman Koirala serves as the executive producer. The script is co-written by Niraula and Purnima Joshi.
The film’s technical team includes Nishal Paudel and Sharad Mahato for cinematography, Suren Maharjan for editing, Rohit Shakya for background score, Shrabal RP for sound design, Dipesh Chaudhary for color grading, and SD Yogi as the music composer.
The distribution will be handled by Kafiya Films in the Kathmandu Valley and Kuber Cine Distribution elsewhere.
“Mummy” is set to release on Magh 25 (February 7, 2025).
