A tragic incident occurred in Makwanpur’s Bhimphedi-8, where a 17-year-old teen drowned while swimming in the Kogate River.
The victim has been identified as Namsos Hagangzbegu from Lazimpat, Kathmandu-12. He reportedly drowned while enjoying a swim and became unconscious in the water.
According to District Police Office spokesperson Shyamu Aryal, the boy was rescued and taken to Sisneri Health Post. Unfortunately, he passed away during treatment.
