Manchu Manoj, son of veteran actor Mohan Babu, has been arrested by the Tirupati police due to a family dispute. The police took him into custody as part of an ongoing investigation. Reports say he was arrested from his home in Tirupati and taken to Bhakarapet police station.
The arrest happened after Mohan Babu filed a complaint against his son, related to their family issues.

Just a day before his arrest, Manoj attended a Jallikattu event in the Chandragiri constituency of Chittoor district. His arrival was celebrated with fireworks by fans of TDP, Janasena, and NTR.
