Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is set to make its OTT debut this week after a successful run in theaters. The film received positive feedback from audiences and performed well at the box office. Here’s everything you need to know about its OTT release.
Thandel OTT Release Date: Thandel will be available for streaming on Netflix starting March 7, 2025. In addition to its original Telugu version, the film will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam for wider accessibility.
Speaking with 123telugu, Naga Chaitanya expressed his excitement about the film’s release, noting, “Thandel is the most expensive film of my career. The story and character span are massive, and I’m thrilled for its release. We’ve already watched the movie and are confident in its success. The second half received unanimous praise, and I personally felt an emotional high, especially in the last thirty minutes.”
He further added, “As an actor, I always aim to improve, and Thandel, based on a real-life incident, provided the motivation I needed. I felt it would take me to the next level in my career. We spent nearly eight months on the script and character transformation, and I even learned the Srikakulam dialect with the help of tutors, which was quite challenging.”
Alongside Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, the film also stars Prakash Belawadi, Divya Pillai, Rao Ramesh, Karunakaran, Kalpa Latha, Babloo Prithveeraj, and Kalyani Natarajan in key roles.
The story follows Raju, who is deeply in love with Satya. Their romance takes a tragic turn when Raju accidentally drifts into Pakistani waters, setting the stage for a gripping tale.
