The filming of the movie 'Pahad' has begun

Director Tulsi Ghimire started filming the movie Pahad on Wednesday. The shooting began after a special worship ceremony at Gorkha Durbar, with scenes featuring actors Madan Krishna Shrestha, Arun Chhetri, and new actress Panchami Ghimire.

The movie tells the story of how mountains are becoming empty as young people leave the country for work. It also highlights the social and economic problems caused by this issue. The filming will take place around Gorkha for 25 days.

Director Ghimire said, “This movie presents the bitter truth of today’s society. It shows the story of high mountains where people no longer live. I am excited to work with both new and experienced actors. Returning to directing has given me new energy.”

This film marks the acting debut of Panchami Ghimire, the director’s daughter. He expressed his happiness about her joining the film industry.

He added, “When your child follows your profession, the happiness cannot be described. Just like in other fields, we filmmakers also dream of seeing our children continue our legacy.”

The movie portrays the responsibilities of citizens and the needs of the country. It is produced by Ojaswi KC, with cinematography by Pramod Pradhan. Actors like Bipin Karki and Sunil Thapa are also part of the cast. The music for the movie is composed by Ranjit Gajmer.
