The popular singing competition, The Voice of Nepal Season 6, has selected 64 contestants for the intense Battle Rounds. After an exciting Blind Audition phase, each coach has successfully formed a team of 16 talented singers.
From over 60,000 applicants in the digital auditions, more than 120 singers made it to the Blind Auditions. Now, as the competition heats up, the Battle Rounds are set to begin next week, promising even more thrilling performances.
Following the Battle Rounds, the Knockout Stage will see nine contestants from each team competing, narrowing the field to 36 singers. Director Laxman Poudyal shared his excitement about the talent this season, saying, “All the singers in the Blind Auditions were incredible. This time, we saw many unique voices from rural areas, bringing a fresh and authentic touch to the competition.”
Highlights from the Latest Blind Audition Episodes
Episodes 9 and 10, aired last weekend, delivered some unforgettable performances. The show kicked off with 27-year-old Sudesh Rai from Bhojpur, who impressed with his rendition of Mahesh Thulung’s song ‘Aakasai Ma Chil Ghumyo’.
In these episodes, eight contestants performed, with three of them managing to turn all four coaches’ chairs—a remarkable achievement! Anjuli Hamal from Kalikot, Mingso Kerung Limbu from Panchthar, and Man Nepali from Bajura captivated all the coaches with their exceptional talent.
Anjuli Hamal’s powerful performance of Udit Narayan Jha’s song ‘Pura Bhayo Sapana Mero’ won over all the coaches. She ultimately chose to join Coach Khem’s team, eager to pursue her dream in the music industry.

In an exciting twist on the competition, 22-year-old Mingso Kerung Limbu from Pithtar managed to turn all four coaches’ chairs. He impressed the judges by singing the song ‘Bhagi Jane Sallaha’ by Sunita Thegim and Naren Limbu. For his coach, he chose Team Uday Subba.
Meanwhile, 23-year-old Man Nepali from Bajura, who had moved to Kathmandu to pursue music and had been performing at Dohori evenings, also succeeded in making all four chairs spin. He amazed everyone by singing ‘Tai Mori Ko Maya Cha’ by Pramod Kharel and left the coaches stunned. He picked Team Khem for his journey ahead.
In this episode, the contestants who were selected were Muna Khadka from Solukhumbu and Arvind Poudel Chhetri from Nawalparasi.
Episode 10 of The Voice of Nepal was filled with thrilling performances. Out of 8 contestants, one managed to turn all four chairs. The episode kicked off with Kamaljit Singh, who lives in Uttarakhand, India. He performed the song ‘Himal Chulima’ by Ramchandra Kafle, impressing the coaches and turning all four chairs.
Kamal, who came to Nepal with a dream of pursuing music, is not only a singer but also a songwriter. Despite not speaking Nepali fluently, his powerful performance stunned everyone. He chose Coach Raj for his journey.
Other contestants selected in this episode included Sagar Hamal, Tashi Fincho Moktan, Birat Tamang, Arpana Acharya, Manisundar Limbu, and Ruben Rai. The Voice of Nepal Season 6 is currently airing on Himalaya TV HD, and viewers are eagerly awaiting the next episode.
