Thirteen people have gone missing in the Phulchoki Jungle, located in Godawari Municipality, Lalitpur. The group had gone for a walk on Monday when they were reported missing, prompting authorities to initiate a search operation.
According to Lalitpur’s SSP Shekhar Khanal, the police have been mobilized with the help of locals to locate the missing individuals. He told Online Khabar, “We received the information about the missing persons, and immediately, we deployed a team under the command of an inspector.”
Phulchoki Hill, standing at 2,761 meters, is the highest peak surrounding the Kathmandu Valley, and it often sees a large number of visitors, especially in the winter season.
