Threads Down: Users Face Redirection Glitch Across Web

Threads Down Users Face Redirection Glitch Across Devices

Meta’s microblogging platform Threads is currently facing widespread technical issues, with users reporting that the app is not loading properly and redirecting unexpectedly.

According to user complaints on social media and platforms like Reddit, the app either shows a blank screen or constantly reloads without displaying content. Some users are stuck in a login loop, while others say the app redirects them to the home page repeatedly without functioning.

“It just keeps refreshing and showing nothing,” one Threads user wrote. “Even reinstalling didn’t help.”

This redirection glitch appears to affect both Android and iOS devices, and some have reported the issue even on the web version of Threads. Though Meta has not yet issued an official statement, the disruption is believed to be linked to a backend redirection conflict, possibly during a server update or A/B test rollout.

🔄 What’s Happening?

  • Blank screens or continuous redirects
  • Login loops and failure to load content
  • No official acknowledgment from Meta yet

The app previously faced similar issues during server optimizations. Until resolved, users are advised to access Threads via the browser or wait for an app update.

We’ll update this article as soon as Meta shares more details or a fix is released.
