However, NDTV has exclusively reported that these claims are false. Industry insiders have clarified that the movie is not shelved and is still very much in the works. The media outlet PeepingMoon, which initially reported the shelving of the film, has since removed the story.
The YRF Spy Universe Continues to Expand
Tiger vs Pathaan is part of the Yash Raj Films (YRF) spy universe, which began with Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger (2012), where he played RAW agent Avinash Singh Rathore, code-named Tiger. Salman reprised this role in Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and Tiger 3 (2023).
Shah Rukh Khan entered the YRF spy world with the blockbuster Pathaan (2023), directed by Siddharth Anand. Salman also made a special cameo in Pathaan, increasing fan excitement for their future on-screen collaboration.
