A tipper accident in Mirchaiya, Siraha has resulted in one fatality. The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Mahendra Mahara of Phulwariya, Mirchaiya Municipality-7, who was driving the vehicle.
According to DSP Rajesh Raj Puri of the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, the accident occurred at around 5:45 AM today when a tipper (Bagmati Province 01–004 Kha 2953) coming from Udaipur lost control and overturned near Katari Chowk.
Mahara died on the spot, and further investigation into the incident is underway, DSP Puri stated.
Initially, police had only confirmed the death of the driver, but it was later revealed that he was a local resident.
