In Salyan, a tragic accident occurred when a man fell from a tractor and died. The victim, 51-year-old Dalbahadur Thapa from Sharda Municipality-7, suffered a serious head injury after falling off a tractor with the number plate “Ra 1 Ta 3246.” The tractor was traveling from Ramekhol to Dhodachaur.
According to police spokesperson Inspector Baburam Basnet, Dalbahadur was severely injured and immediately rescued by locals. He was rushed to the District Hospital in Salyan, but unfortunately passed away shortly after arrival.
Dalbahadur fell while trying to get off the tractor to board another vehicle on the way to Dhodachaur. He hit his head and other parts of his body and lost consciousness.
His body has been kept for postmortem at the hospital. The tractor driver, 24-year-old Dinesh Bohara from Gothichaur, Sharda Municipality-7, is in police custody. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
