A tragic jeep accident in Doti district has claimed one life and left eight others injured. The incident occurred on Sunday morning around 9:30 AM at Kedargau, located in K.I. Singh Rural Municipality-5.
According to Doti District Police, the jeep (plate no. Su.Pra. 01001 Ja 1464) was heading from Gaguda in Bogatan Phudsil towards Dipayal when it lost control on a turn and fell about 100 meters off the road.
Min Bam, a 42-year-old resident of Gaguda, Bogatan Phudsil-6, died in the accident. He was seriously injured and rushed to Shaileshwori Hospital in Dipayal, but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Eight others, including the driver, sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
