Triptii Dimri is on a remarkable rise in the Indian film industry, and her next project only cements her growing stardom. In a big casting reveal, the creators of Spirit have confirmed that Triptii will be seen opposite Rebel Star Prabhas in what promises to be one of the biggest cinematic spectacles of the coming years.
This marks the first time Prabhas and Triptii Dimri will share screen space—a fresh pairing that has already begun generating buzz in both industry circles and among fans. Notably, Spirit will also be Triptii’s second outing with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, producer Bhushan Kumar, and Pranay Reddy Vanga, following the blockbuster success of Animal.
Interestingly, the role was initially offered to Deepika Padukone, who was even announced as the female lead. However, due to disagreements over work-hour conditions, she has exited the project. Deepika has since committed to an untitled high-budget film with director Atlee and superstar Allu Arjun.
Produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit promises to be a pan-world action drama with high emotional stakes. Prabhas will portray a powerful and intense police officer, while Triptii is expected to bring depth and nuance to her character—making this film one of the most eagerly awaited releases.
Currently in pre-production, Spirit is scheduled to begin filming in 2025. With its high-profile cast, celebrated director, and massive production scale, the film is poised to leave a lasting impact.
