Nepali Journalists Suspended

The Federal Parliament Secretariat has suspended the entry passes of two Nepali journalists.

Journalists Prakash Oli and Kishor Kumar Shrestha had their passes revoked for using inappropriate words while questioning Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and other MPs.

The suspension was decided at the secretary-general level. Normally, the Parliament Secretariat provides entry passes to journalists for reporting, but their passes have now been suspended.

According to Parliament Secretariat spokesperson Ekram Giri, the suspension will last for one month. He stated that journalists must follow the code of conduct and reporting guidelines. Since these rules were violated, their entry passes have been suspended for a month.
