Urfi Javed, known for her fearless and unfiltered opinions, has taken a jab at Ashneer Grover over his recent comments about Salman Khan. The former Shark Tank India judge stirred controversy with his remarks, prompting Urfi to call him out on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Urfi wrote, “Bas ab Salman ke samne bol ke dikha! This guy Salman’s competition?” She openly challenged Grover, suggesting that talking behind someone’s back is easy, but confronting them face-to-face takes real courage.
What’s the Salman vs. Ashneer Drama?
The tension between Ashneer Grover and Salman Khan isn’t new—it dates back to 2022 when Grover reportedly tried to get Salman as a brand ambassador for his company, BharatPe. The negotiations didn’t go smoothly, and things have been rocky ever since.
Recently, during an appearance at NIT Kurukshetra, Grover took another shot at Salman. He claimed that Khan was unnecessarily dragging him into a rivalry that didn’t exist, saying, “Faltu ka panga leke apna competition khada kiya usne. Main toh shanti se gaya tha jab mereko bulaya.” (He picked an unnecessary fight and made it a competition. I went there peacefully because I was invited.)
Old Grudges Resurface
Grover also recalled an awkward moment from the past when he spent hours with Salman Khan but wasn’t allowed to take a picture with him. “Teen ghante baitha tha uske saath, uske manager ne bol diya ki photo nahi khichwani hai, sir thoda bura maan jaate hain.” (I sat with him for three hours, but his manager said we couldn’t take a photo because ‘sir’ gets upset.)
This long-standing friction between the two has now turned into an open war of words, with Urfi jumping in to call out Grover’s boldness online but apparent silence in person.
