Indian batsman Virat Kohli has said that he may not play another test series in Australia. However, the 36-year-old ruled out retirement as he still loves playing cricket.

India lost the four-match test series 3-1 against Australia. Virat kohli struggled with his form, scoring only 190 runs at an average of 23.75. Despite this, he started the series well, scoring an unbeaten century in the first test in Perth.

Tough Time with the Bat

Kohli admitted that his poor form in the recent Australia series reminded him of his struggles in England in 2014, where he managed just 134 runs in the series.

“The Australia tour is fresh in my mind, so it feels like the toughest,” Kohli said. “For a long time, my bad performance in England 2014 bothered me the most. But now, I have to make peace with whatever happens. I may not play another Australia tour in four years, I don’t know.”

No Retirement Plans Yet

Kohli retired from T20 internationals after India won the T20 World Cup last year. However, he continues to play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He remains an important player in India’s test team and recently helped India win the Champions Trophy.

“I don’t play the game for records or achievements,” Kohli said. “I play because I love cricket. As long as I enjoy it, I will continue to play.”

He reassured fans that he is not planning to retire anytime soon. “Don’t worry, I am not making any big announcements. Everything is fine for now,” he added.
