Netflix has officially unveiled the spine-chilling trailer for Wednesday Season 2, and it promises even more eerie excitement and gothic grandeur. Jenna Ortega reprises her role as the ever-sardonic Wednesday Addams, plunging back into the supernatural secrets of Nevermore Academy — and this time, the darkness cuts deeper.
Following the global phenomenon of its debut season, the show is stepping up its game. The new trailer teases a fresh wave of monsters, mysteries, and mayhem. But beyond the horror, fans can expect sharp humor, emotional twists, and Wednesday’s trademark deadpan charm.
“We really wanted to find some new obstacles for Wednesday,” said Co-Creator and Showrunner Miles Millar. “She thinks she has it all figured out — but she’s about to realize that navigating human emotions can be far scarier than fighting monsters.”
A Two-Part Season Packed with Surprises
This season will roll out in two parts:
- Part 1 (Episodes 201–204) premieres August 6, 2025
- Part 2 (Episodes 205–208) lands on September 3, 2025
Once again, Tim Burton is at the helm as executive producer and director for select episodes, bringing back his hauntingly whimsical style that made the first season so visually captivating.
In addition to the returning ensemble — including Emma Myers, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Isaac Ordonez — Season 2 introduces exciting new cast members. Expect to see Thandiwe Newton, Heather Matarazzo, and the highly anticipated guest appearance of Lady Gaga in the second half.
From Nevermore to the World: [TOUR]ture Begins
The cast and creators will embark on an international promotional tour cleverly named [TOUR]ture, with stops in Australia, Canada, England, France, Italy, Poland, Romania, South Korea, and the USA.
With deeper emotional arcs, chilling visuals, and a lineup of powerhouse performers, Wednesday Season 2 is gearing up to deliver a gripping continuation of the Addams legacy — and the trailer is only the beginning.
