Great news for all movie lovers! The highly awaited Akshay Kumar film Welcome To The Jungle is inching closer to its theatrical release, with nearly 70% of the shooting already wrapped up. Fans, who have been eagerly waiting for updates, can now breathe easy as the film’s production is making steady progress.
Big Progress on Welcome To The Jungle
Insiders from ETimes shared that 70% of the filming is complete. The remaining portion was originally planned to be shot in Kashmir. However, following the unfortunate incident in Pahalgam, those plans were delayed. The Kashmir schedule was quite elaborate, involving helicopters, over 250 horses with riders, and about 1200 junior artists.
Despite these hurdles, the source confirmed that the project is firmly back on track. All 34 actors involved are enthusiastic and ready to begin the final intensive shooting schedule, which will commence after the monsoon season at a new location.
Challenges Faced by the Production
Earlier reports from Pinkvilla highlighted financial difficulties causing disruptions in the filming process. Multiple shooting schedules—two to three—were reportedly canceled in the last six months, creating uncertainty among the cast and crew. The actors had allocated dates for shooting with producer Firoz Nadiadwala, only to face last-minute cancellations due to logistical and financial challenges.
Star-Studded Cast and Crew
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle features an ensemble cast of Bollywood veterans including Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda. The female leads are equally impressive with Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, and Raveena Tandon adding charm to the film.
With filming nearing completion and production issues being resolved, fans can look forward to the release of this exciting adventure soon!
