A woman died after being hit by a truck in Shuklaphanta Municipality-5. According to the police, the victim was 21-year-old Nirmala Bohora from Bhimdatta Municipality-18.
The accident happened Thursday morning when a truck (Ba 01005 Kha 3537) heading towards Mahendranagar hit a motorcycle (Ma 1 Pa 4658) moving in the same direction. Bohora died on the spot, said SP Chakraraj Joshi of the Kanchanpur District Police Office.
The motorcycle rider, Mahiman Bista, sustained minor injuries and is receiving treatment at Mahakali Provincial Hospital.
